Role Overview
The tennis club administrator supports the smooth day-to-day running of the club with responsibility for membership, competition/ league administration as well as communications, web and other club IT system support. The role holder shall work closely with the club committees and coaching team providing administrative support where required. Hours are flexible and expected to cover approx. 10-12 hours weekly. Contract terms to be agreed. The service provider shall not be an employee of the Portmarnock Tennis Club but rather provide services as outlined and as agreed.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage website and associated database and club IT systems
- Manage member communications via website, email and applications
- Maintain up-to-date membership records
- Process membership applications and renewals
- Issue new member welcome packs, invoices, receipts, and renewal reminders
- Support annual membership invoicing and payments received
- Support member queries relating to membership and club systems
- Manage and maintain the Smart Club and Club Manager systems
- Support administration of events, draws and associated documentation
- Administrate league entry & competitions
- Maintain calendar of tennis events and competitions
- Administer in-house club leagues & competitions
- Support grant applications
- Provide reports to the committee as required
